Dongre Vasti Wall (NZ & Australian Project)

Special School opened January 2013 (UK project)
The conference was held in this awesome new facility which has four classrooms, a kitchen and a play area. Ingrid ten Hoopen from Australia is the Director and under her leadership the intellectually disabled women and children have flourished. One of the projects is recycling braille paper into little gift boxes, now that is a clever idea! The chickens have been moved to the Special School and have become a source of much interest to the girls and there is new play equipment being installed in the fenced area. It’s a great space beside the Junior College, right in the heart of all the activity.
