Women are discouraged and often unable to voice their emotions, stuggles and ailments. As a result they suffer in silence, unable to access the medical care and resources they need. Our outreach program aims to bridge this gap and provide much needed medical care and counselling to these women, helping to improve their health and general well-being.
After an 8 year break, our hospital’s medical camps to nearby villages have been successfully revived. Over the past year, we have conducted 2-3 health camps per week. One desperate and distraught woman who came to us with multiple physical and mental ailments received special counselling, examinations and treatment. Through medical care, home visits she has significantly improved and is now on only low doses of medication.
Our medical outreach programme is once again touching the lives of many village folk and continues to spread healing where there is a lack of medical care.
