Many of these homes are heritage buildings and they require regular maintenance to preserve them. The time has come to breathe new life into the Flower Family Homes, by way of a repaint. Water seepage is a challenge that leaves the old mud walls cracked and weathered. Walls, doors and windows will be repaired and repainted, an effective solution for water seepage will be undertaken, and new guttering installed.

Funded by a local firm recently, these stunning bunk room murals add wonder and creativity. Completing the much-needed maintenance and painting the entire area will create an environment where every child feels cherished and cared for.

Let’s not overlook the older girls who reside in Elim Gardens. Although these homes may not show signs of aging in the same way as the heritage buildings, a clean and fresh repaint is precisely what is needed to maintain them.

We need to raise $30,000 to complete this project. Your generous donation will make a tangible difference in the lives of these children, helping us give their homes a much-needed repaint and fix up.
